Briggs Chairs Seminar on “Priorities for the NHS in Scotland”

Miles has today chaired a Scotland Policy Conferences, at Royal College of Surgeons, seminar that focused on realistic medicine, engaging the workforce and promoting personalised care. The conference will have a particular focus on reducing waste and variation in care, promoting innovation and looking at skills and resources. There will also be a discussion on priorities for improving Scotland’s public health through a shift to preventative care and how a move to realistic medicine can build on best practice in international healthcare. The conference will be attended by a range of experts to cover the broad spectrum approach being put into place to deal with challenges in the NHS.

Miles Briggs comments:

“The ‘Priorities for the NHS in Scotland’ seminar is an excellent opportunity for leaders in the NHS to share ideas and discuss the most important challenges in the NHS”
