Briggs calls for Lothian entries in RSPB Nature Of Scotland Awards.
Miles Briggs, Scottish Conservative & Unionist MSP for Lothian, is backing RSPB Scotland’s call for entries for the 2017 Nature of Scotland Awards. Individuals and organisations can apply to enter the national awards which cover a range of categories including the community initiative award, nature tourism award, food and farming award and marine conservation award.
Speaking today Miles Briggs said:
“ The RSPB’s Nature of Scotland awards are an excellent way of showcasing good practice in wildlife conservation across the country. There are many examples within Edinburgh and Lothian of individuals and local groups working hard to protect our natural heritage and I hope they will consider entering the awards before the deadline for entry submission on 12th June.”
